The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Winning Instagram Marketing Strategy in 2023

If you’re wondering what the future of Instagram marketing will look like, you’re not alone. As more and more brands get into the space, it can be hard to keep track of how best to use the platform and where you should be putting your money and efforts. But thanks to our team of experts who have been using Instagram to reach audiences since the very beginning, we know exactly how to use it for success in 2023 and beyond—and we want to share that knowledge with you!

Step 1 – Research Hashtags

When it comes to making your brand stand out on Instagram, there’s no question that hashtags play a pivotal role. Hashtags can be used as an effective marketing tool by directing your content toward more specific audiences who are looking for exactly what you’re selling. However, simply throwing random hashtags onto your posts is unlikely to yield good results. Instead of spending time coming up with irrelevant hashtags just because they seem popular, do some research and choose targeted ones that match your brand and business goals. To find relevant hashtags, look at your competitors’ profiles and see which tags they use most frequently. You can also search for hashtags directly from within Instagram itself. To do so, tap on Photos at the top of your feed, then tap Explore. From here, tap Tags, which will bring you to a screen full of relevant tags based on other users’ posts.

Step 2 – Draft Your Content Calendar

Once you’ve broken your content down into manageable sections, consider how much time each topic will take you to write. Some topics are simple and will take a few hours of research or an afternoon of writing, while other topics will require extensive thought and require several weeks of research. This is called developing your Content Calendar. Start by choosing one section at a time, then identify how long it might take you to finish that section based on its length and complexity, before moving onto another section. Once all sections have been planned out, it should give you an accurate idea of when all your content needs can be completed with enough time left over for editing and proofreading before publishing on your website. For example: If I want to publish 10 posts a month, I need to know what my deadline is for completing each post. In order to determine my deadlines, I’ll first break down my content into different categories (such as How To Posts and Product Reviews) because these categories already have their own unique requirements for formatting and word count. Next I’ll determine how many posts fall under each category (for example: four How To Posts and two Product Reviews). Finally I’ll decide how many days of work it takes me to complete one post in that category (for example: two days per How To Post). This means if I want to publish 10 posts per month, then I need two months worth of work!

Step 3 – Build an Engaging Feed

When it comes to making your feed work for you, curation is key. Planning out exactly what you want on your page ahead of time will save you lots of wasted time later, and it’s easier than it sounds. Start with an editorial calendar. For example, when photos from other users should be posted, how many photos per hour at certain times of day or week and so forth. This will help build an engaging feed that will keep people coming back for more content. Then when choosing who to follow make sure that they follow these guidelines below -Follow accounts that are relevant to my business. The most important thing about following accounts is relevance. It doesn’t matter if you have 500 followers if all those accounts aren’t relevant to your business or industry, there’s no point in following them because it won’t get you any new customers! Make sure that every account you choose to follow has some relevance to your niche. If they don’t then unfollow them right away! You’ll thank me later! Also make sure not to follow too many accounts as it could lead to accidental follow-unfollow loops which can damage follower engagement rates. I recommend only following 200-300 accounts maximum!

Step 4 – Build a Personal Brand

Personal branding is essential for any freelancer. It doesn’t matter if you are a content creator, designer, or developer, you need to be able to market your services and gain brand recognition. The best way to achieve that is through social media marketing. In order to be successful at freelance work, you have to establish yourself as an expert in your field. This can be done by blogging on popular platforms like Medium or on your own personal website. You should also create a portfolio of all of your past work so potential clients can see what you have been capable of creating. Another great way to build your personal brand is by writing guest posts on other websites that are related to yours. When people see how knowledgeable you are about specific topics, they will know they can trust you with their project because they know it will be completed in high quality fashion. You should also get involved with local meetups and conferences where people who share similar interests congregate so you can network with them and make connections that could potentially lead to new clients down the road. Step 5 – Generate Leads: One of the biggest mistakes many new freelancers make is not setting up a system for generating leads right away.

Step 5 – Prepare for Launch

Once you’ve done all that, it’s time to prepare for launch. Launch day is only as good as your strategy. Start by telling your friends and family, who can help you spread word of mouth (for free). Then start promoting on social media, including a big push on Facebook and Twitter right before launch—after all, those are your core readership channels. Work with bloggers and do any pre-launch interviews or guest posts you can. Get ready for your book’s online sales page on Amazon: be sure you have an irresistible title, author bio, cover image, description and back matter (such as blurbs from experts) all ready before you publish so that when it comes time to share links with readers you won’t forget anything crucial! Step 6 – Launch Day & Beyond: On launch day, get up early and post about your book on every single platform you can think of. Send emails to everyone you know personally and professionally; ask them to post about it too. If there’s anyone famous in your field who would be willing to talk about your book, reach out and ask if they’d like an advance copy–and then follow up with them later once they’ve had a chance to read it. You want people talking about your book as much as possible during its first week out, because that will give you momentum going forward.

Step 6 – Grow Your Audience

So, we’ve got our content out there, now what? We want as many eyeballs on our content as possible. Step 6 will walk you through ways you can leverage various strategies and tactics to get more eyes on your content. You’ll learn how to connect with influencers, set up advertising campaigns and grow your audience. By growing your audience you are not only increasing traffic, but building relationships that will ultimately lead to leads and sales over time. Step 1 – Find Influencers: In order to create an effective influencer marketing campaign, you first need to find relevant social media influencers who have large audiences of engaged followers that match your target demographic.

Step 7 – Stay Active

It’s just as important to stay active as it is to go on a diet. Once you start following your diet, stick with it. If you plan on going out and eating something bad, then do not cheat while you are at home but go out and eat junk once in awhile. Make sure that when you go out and eat something that you have already planned what your meal was going to be ahead of time so you do not get tempted by food when you are outside. #What I recommend doing is either bringing something healthy with you or finding an item that fits into your diet. For example if you are trying to lose weight and want some fries instead of getting them from McDonald’s make them yourself at home. You can also bring fruit with you or even yogurt. Just make sure that whatever you decide to bring is healthy for your body! Also, don’t forget about exercise! Exercise will help keep your metabolism up which will help burn fat faster! The more muscle mass that you have, the more calories that you burn throughout the day.
